Tommy Bowe Looking Forward For A Win In Six Nations

To protect the bragging rights with his Ospreys teammates,Welsh-based Irish flyer Tommy Bowe is eager to grab a win in Ireland's RBS 6 Nations clash in Cardiff on Saturday.

He also revealed that the Millennium Stadium was his favourite away venue since he helped Ireland to a first Grand Slam in 61 years in the Welsh capital two years ago.

A stuttering start to the Six Nations had been made by Ireland beating Italy and Scotland and falling just short against France.

“Me coming up against my team-mates from the Ospreys certainly adds an extra bit of spice,” said Bowe who missed Ireland first two matches with injury before returning against Scotland.

“This weekend if I can come away win it will make life a little bit easier for me when I go back to Wales.

“I've only played at the Millennium once. I think it's probably my favourite away stadium to play in.

“It seems the whole of Wales turns up in Cardiff on the day of an international.

“There is a great buzz around the city, certainly in the stadium it's an atmosphere like no other. It's one I have fond memories of.

“For us we still have the Triple Crown to play for which is massive for us going into the World Cup, and for Wales, likewise, they have still got an awful lot to play for.”
